Jag mailade nyligen mitt försäkringsbolag för att fråga hur jag kunde se till att jag inte skulle få en hög räkning på grund av att E behandlats av läkare som inte var "in-network". Idag fick jag fick ett svar från försäkringbolaget.
"In regard to your inquiry, you can contact the hospital where your wife
will deliver and request for them to align you with all providers that
are in your network. However, there is still no real guarantee that the
day you go in all the providers will be in-network. As long as the
hospital and the initial provider is in-network, you can submit an
appeal for any other providers that are not in-network. I will attach
the appeal process below for your records. "
Visst är det ett härligt system när man inte kan se till att man behandlas av "providers" som täcks ordentligt av försäkringen ens om man är ute i god tid och planerar?
